How we test travel
We test by going. Backpacks are carried through airports, hotels are booked and slept in, and city routes are walked on foot before we publish them. We pay our own way, which means no hotel gets a kind review for a free night.
Public data backs the writing. We cross-check figures against UN Tourism and other open sources, and we flag anything that looks too good to be true.
